The AI Conference, the leading conference for applied AI, has announced the first round of speakers from OpenAI, Anthropic, NVIDIA, Google, Meta, and more, with sessions bringing business leaders and builders together to show how AI systems are built, deployed, and scaled in practice. The conference, in conjunction with inaugural AI Week SF, takes place from September 29 to October 1 at Pier 48 in San Francisco.
The AI Conference amasses 5,000+ builders, researchers, and leaders for two days of sharing, learning, and collaborating with main-stage keynotes, a Startup Showdown, and an expanded Innovation Hub focused on applied AI from research to production.
“In too many cases, the people who imagine what’s possible with AI are separated from those responsible for making it real,” said Shon Burton, founder of The AI Conference. “We’ve built The AI Conference specifically to bring those worlds together with leaders who understand both the technical realities of building AI systems and the business constraints of deploying them at scale. Our conference program moves beyond siloed conversations to foster the cross-functional dialogue required to shift AI from promise into production.”
This year brings together a rare mix of frontier researchers, engineering leaders, product operators, and startup builders. Sessions will focus on how AI is currently being designed, deployed, evaluated, and scaled, including:
- Cyber Offense Hits its Moore’s Law Moment – when compute gets cheap, persistence becomes the exploit – Julia Diament, Principal AI Architect, Office of the CTO, Microsoft
- Harness Engineering: How to Build Software When Humans Steer and Agents Execute – Ryan Lopopolo, Member of Technical Staff, OpenAI
- The Agentic Shift: How to Build Products When AI Can Actually Do Things – Jaclyn Konzelmann, Product Director, Google Labs
- Pricing intelligence: What frontier AI economics mean for builders and buyers – Charu Maheshwari, Product Finance & Strategy, Anthropic
“Applied AI doesn’t happen in silos. It happens when engineers and executives are in the room together, working through the same complex problems,” said Ben Lorica, AI Conference program chair. “Our goal is to present a speaker lineup and forum for conversation where the real executive pressures of pricing, strategies, market fit, and more meet actual development challenges such as code quality, architecture choices, and security–and everybody walks away with more and better solutions.”
Inaugural AI Week SF
The AI Conference is happening during AI Week SF, a new community initiative that includes five days of independently organized events across San Francisco happening simultaneously from September 28 to October 2 in offices, labs, galleries, rooftops, and warehouses, including talks, workshops, dinners, demos, and late-night sessions—all about AI.
If you are interested in hosting during AI Week SF, add your event to the official calendar!
