Paces Preservation Partners and Gainesville Housing Authority to kick off Lakeside at Harrison Village, a 100-apartment, 55+ community

GAINESVILLE, GA, UNITED STATES, August 12, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Paces Preservation Partners, in partnership with the City of Gainesville Housing Authority, will host a groundbreaking ceremony for Lakeside at Harrison Village on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. The event marks the start of construction on a 100-unit affordable apartment community for seniors.

Modern affordable housing for seniors is a pressing need in the rapidly growing Gainesville metro area. Thanks to a public-private partnership, Lakeside at Harrison Village is another important step in expanding high-quality, affordable housing options for the community’s seniors. Financing is being provided by tax-exempt bonds allocated by DCA and issued by the City of Gainesville Housing Authority. Additional financing partners are BWE, JP Morgan Chase, and US Bank.

Paces Preservation Partners is a strategic partnership between The Paces Foundation and Soho Housing Partners. The partnership works with local housing authorities to develop and build public housing.
